Pasha Mediterranean Grill began in 2008, when Daniel Deiri, Kamran Hajivandi, and Daniel’s son Bilal, set out to bring fresh, authentic Mediterranean flavors to San Antonio. What started as a bold idea in a small Wurzbach location quickly grew into a citywide favorite.


From day one, our commitment has been the same: serve food made from scratch, with care and tradition. We bake fresh naan daily, boil our own chickpeas for silky hummus, and prepare every dish with the flavors of the Mediterranean, Persian, Greek, Syrian, and Arabic kitchens in mind.


Our passion for quality also led to the creation of Baklovah Bakery, where Sami Deiri’s leadership has helped transform it into one of San Antonio’s most respected bakeries. His dedication to craft—especially in our handmade baklava and specialty Mediterranean desserts—has elevated the brand, and these beloved sweets are now served in all Pasha restaurants.


Today, Pasha has expanded from full-service locations to fast-casual concepts like Pasha Express and Zaatar Lebanese Grill, but our heart remains the same: family, hard work, and unforgettable flavor. Nearly two decades later, we’re proud to continue sharing the foods we love with the community that embraced us.
